Here's some more of that sweet, sweet Louisville sound.  But instead of post-hardcore or chamber music, this iteration treats us to some folk music with a modern tinge.  There are no weak spots here, but what separates this record is how Will Oldham uses his own backing vocals to maximal affect.  Whether adding a faint touch of hope to the refrain of the title track or putting the revelry in the breakdown of "Nomadic Revelry (All Around)," Oldham never misses an opportunity to heighten the moment in whatever way he can.
